The worst looks like a fascist abyss — the extended glimpses of it that we’re getting, like last weekend’s rally at Madison Square Garden, are both instructive and utterly terrifying — and I have no firm idea how to prepare for that. I love that you included Sinead's performance. I remember watching the UFC card that night and thinking, "Wow, the sport has finally crossed over into the overtly theatrical." Unfortunately, there haven't been many moments like this since and McGregor's presence is sorely missed.
